English KS2 is applied to English and Welsh school children in years three through year six or school children between the ages of seven and eleven. The Education Act of 2002 has legally defined the age group for keystage two as school children between the ages of seven and eleven. The English National Cirrculum has identifed eleven areas that every school child should study. These school topics are: history & geography, music, language arts, math, technology, religon, art, science, and gym. At age eleven, the students take one of the National Curriculum Tests; more specifically these year six students take the English SATs. There are five key stages in English and Welsh schooling in all. Key stage two is different in Northern Ireland than it is in England and Wales.
